Tedder One (Proposal)

This mixed use project is designed as a gateway to Tedder Avenue, one of Gold Coast’s most famous local shopping strips, and is separated from the Gold Coast Highway by a park reserve. Although the shopping strip has no particular or significant architectural character, it does possess a vibrant quality and is the place to see and to be seen.

The brief called for a development that would maximize and re-energize the use of the land on this sensitive interface. The resulting form creates a captivating landmark and focal point framing the entry to the commercial strip. The design sets new standards and provides for a fresh and exciting architectural direction in the revitilisation of the strip.
